How Lender List sources lender criteria, labels uncertainty, reviews financial content, and separates page ownership from ranking.
Evidence labels
Lender-record criteria, lender-verified criteria, third-party reported information, and discovered profiles are labeled separately. Unknown fields remain unknown.
Independence
Claiming a page, providing a logo, or registering for the API does not purchase ranking or change organic placement. Sponsored placement must be visibly labeled if introduced.
Financial content
Calculators disclose formulas and limitations. Guides name an author, show publication and review dates, link to methodology, and avoid presenting educational estimates as approvals or legal advice.
Updates
Material criteria changes retain source and observation dates. Automated imports are reviewed for structural validity, and lender corrections enter a manual review queue.
